Transforming Lives Through Agriculture

Powered by Community, Driven by Partnerships
Ready to Grow More Than Just Crops?

Welcome!

The NHSA Emerging Farmers Program is more than training — it is a movement. From Gauteng to KwaZulu-Natal, Limpopo to Mpumalanga, we are creating new pathways for disadvantaged youth to step into the green economy with dignity, confidence, and real ownership.
We don’t just teach farming — we build entrepreneurs, cooperatives, and leaders.

Learners by 2026

Join a movement that grows skills, businesses, and sustainable communities.

Agriculture holds the power to shift the future of South Africa. According to the National Development Plan, the agricultural sector can create one million jobs by 2030 — but only if emerging farmers are equipped, connected, and supported.

That is why NHSA founded the Agri-Hub Training and Development Platform, a dynamic space where youth, women, students, and people living with disabilities gain both skill and access to real markets.

Who We Empower

Priorities

Empowering Those Who Were Never Given a Chance
We prioritize learners with limited access to land, training, and opportunity — especially youth living with disabilities, women, and disadvantaged communities.

Active Program Sites

  • Gauteng – Diepsloot, Lenasia South, Roodepoort Village (40 learners)
  • KwaZulu-Natal – Mtubatuba, KwaDlangezwa, Vryheid, Nongoma (270 learners)
  • Mpumalanga – Naas Mafambisa & Mkhondo (150 learners)
  • Northern Cape – Kimberly (50 learners)
  • Limpopo – Vhembe, Mopane, Sekhukhune, Waterburg

Youth with Disabilities

We are proud to announce a dedicated intake of 550 young people living with disabilities across the country.
We don’t see disability — we see leadership, potential, and purpose waiting to be equipped.
